Class Descriptions
Here are the full descriptions of the classes, for members to enjoy and held in the ground floor exercise lounge in the Health & Fitness Club at Ringwood Hall Hotel. Please reserve your place if you wish to attend a class.
The former ground floor gymnasium has been revamped to hold the following class programme.
STRIKE - This class is a high impact workout for the whole body, dynamic and powerful combinations of martial art techniques to help you develop speed, power and co-ordination and also a brilliant anger release.
CIRCUIT TRAINING - An excellent way to improve mobility, strength & stamina. A class that is designed for anyone to take part, with simple exercises to follow. Come & try a session.
STABILITY BALL - A class suitable for people of all abilities, an excellent way to simultaneously improve mobility, strength & stamina. You will need to bring your own ball to the class.
BOXERCISE - This class is high impact all over body workout, great for toning up the upper body, and also is a good cardio trainer, a brilliant and fun way to improve stamina, strength and co-ordination, and also a great way of de-stressing.
ENERGY BURST - A mixture of everything from aerobics to boxing and a different session every week, catering to everybody`s abilities and needs, a great class for developing your overall fitness and well being.
BEGINNER STEP AEROBICS - Primarily to exercise the heart & lungs for improving cardiovascular fitness. You`ll also be giving your lower body muscles a good workout, strengthening and toning your bottom, thighs and abdominals.
ABS BLAST - This is an intense class working predominantly on your abdominals, it focuses on toning and developing your abdominals and lower back.
BODY CONDITIONING (Fat bursting & toning). - Here we go, not only are we going to burn a few calories, but also tighten up those bits that move you don`t want them to, by using your own body weight as a a resistance.
LEGS, BUMS & TUMS - This is a class specifically designed to tone up those awkward areas. A leg, bums & tums is a fun and enjoyable class and it is easy to master, so come and join in!!
AQUA AEROBICS - The fact that this class is in water, helps you enjoy the workout with the extra resistance of the water. The support of the water will also aid your fitness levels. This is a fun class for all ages and abilities.
STUDIO PUMP - This class is a mixture of aerobic exercise with weights. It is aimed so anyone can do it. Outcomes are that it will improve your posture, reduce body fat, and increase muscle tone and definition without the bulk.
DANCE STYLE AEROBICS - A low impact class suitable for people of all abilities with a mix of different styles, this is a great and fun way to stay in shape.
YOGA - Recognised as one of the safest and most popular forms of exercise. Whilst designed to increase flexibility, strength and tone, Yoga also enhances health and wellbeing in body & mind.
Please note for the above classes you must book in advance at the Health & Fitness Club reception. A small charge of £3.00 is required for the Aqua Aerobics.
